Croakey Health Media is a not-for-profit independent media organisation with a unique focus on health equity, health in all policies, climate justice, and the wellbeing of First Nations peoples and Country. 

Our work is informed by evidence, the knowledge of people with lived experience, and our commitment to covering under-served topics and communities. Our work takes a local, national and global approach. At a time of escalating misinformation and disinformation and many challenges to health, nationally and globally, the work of public health journalism is increasingly important. 

For a small organisation, we punch above our weight but it’s a tough operating environment and our future is precarious. We are grateful to those who have supported our work over many years. To survive into the future, we need to build our supporter base significantly.
